For UHD Blu-ray, bitstream output is important to preserve Dolby TrueHD/Atmos and DTS-HD/DTS:X. Secondary audio mixing should normally be disabled for lossless audio.
Arcana extracts audio from the HDMI signal before a TV or projector can restrict it. A compatible soundbar or receiver can therefore receive the best available soundtrack while the video signal continues to the display.
Use Arcana for a straightforward eARC solution; choose Arcana 2 when you need multiple outputs or HDMI audio.
