About this site
What HDfuryArcana.com is, who runs it, where the information comes from and how it is kept current.
What this site is
HDfuryArcana.com covers two products in depth: the HDfury Arcana and the HDfury Arcana 2. Both solve the same underlying problem — a TV or projector that will not pass full-quality audio through to a soundbar or AV receiver — but they solve it for different HDMI generations.
The site is run by HDfury Europe, the European distributor. It is an information site: it holds the manuals, the firmware archive, the setup guides per source device and the troubleshooting pages. It does not sell anything. Orders go through hdfury.eu and hdfury.nl.
Where the information comes from
Three sources, in this order of authority:
- The official HDfury manuals. The online manuals on this site are page-for-page reproductions of the official PDFs (Arcana Rev. 1.2, Arcana 2 Rev. 1.0), made searchable and readable on a phone. Where the manual and this site disagree, the manual wins.
- The official HDfury product pages. Firmware versions and specifications were last checked against the official HDfury product documentation on 23 July 2026.
- Practical experience with the source devices. The player pages describe the menus and settings of consoles, streamers and disc players as they actually ship. Manufacturers move menu items between firmware versions, so treat those paths as a strong hint rather than gospel.
What we deliberately do not do
- No invented specifications. If something is not in the manual or on the official product page, it is not claimed here. Where behaviour depends on the specific chain — and with HDMI it very often does — that is stated instead of glossed over.
- No firmware release notes we cannot source. The downloads page lists every firmware version with its release date and file size. HDfury does not publish per-version release notes, so none are invented here.
- No tracking. No analytics, no cookies, no third-party scripts. See the privacy statement.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, outdated or unclear, that is worth knowing. The postal address is on the contact page. Corrections that come with a reproducible chain — source, cable, Arcana firmware, display, audio system — are the most useful kind.
Trademarks
HDfury, Arcana and Arcana 2 are brand and product names of HDfury. Sonos, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, PlayStation, Xbox and all other product names mentioned belong to their respective owners and are used here for identification only.
