Setup with Arcana
Cable order: Formuler Z11 Pro Max → Arcana HDMI IN → HDMI OUT to TV/projector + eARC to soundbar
Use this route when 4K60 is sufficient and you need one video output.
A 4K60 IPTV and streaming box that does not need HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, so the original Arcana is enough.
This player is mainly used for IPTV and streaming. Automatic resolution and audio settings usually work well, but a fixed 4K50/60 configuration can improve stability.
Arcana extracts audio from the HDMI signal before a TV or projector can restrict it. A compatible soundbar or receiver can therefore receive the best available soundtrack while the video signal continues to the display.
Arcana is the logical choice. Choose Arcana 2 only for more complex routing.

Only use EDID, scaling or lip-sync corrections afterwards when the standard route demonstrably does not work.
The settings above are the starting point. These are the things that most often go wrong on this specific device.
On these boxes the media player application decides whether Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD MA are passed through untouched or decoded first. Enable passthrough there; the system-level audio setting alone is not enough.
Local media collections mix 23.976, 24, 25 and 50 fps material. Automatic frame-rate switching keeps motion clean but renegotiates HDMI on every change, so expect a brief black flash between titles.
Still not right? Work through the troubleshooting pages — no Atmos, eARC falling back, lip sync and a black screen at 4K120 are covered there step by step.
